Our Philosophy

Sound Counsel Marketing was founded on a simple principle: non-profits should be able to access high-quality marketing expertise without the cost and complexity of traditional agency structures.

Over a 25+ year career working in and alongside marketing and digital agencies, I have led teams, managed complex client relationships and delivered work across strategy, content, digital platforms and campaigns. That experience has also enabled me to build a wide, trusted network of creatives, filmmakers, web developers and digital specialists.

Rather than inflating costs through agency layers or undisclosed outsourcing, Sound Counsel Marketing operates through a transparent partner model. Strategy and delivery are led directly by me, with specialist partners brought in openly and only where they add genuine value. Partner costs are agreed in advance.

This approach gives non-profits access to senior judgement, specialist skills and high-quality delivery: while ensuring budgets are spent responsibly and can be clearly accounted for.
